Does your chow or avi have a lucky coin? Maybe a lucky pet? Or even just a habit they might consider lucky?

Draw or write about what your Chow or Avi considers lucky! This could be anything from a physical item to something they do every day to stay lucky. Whatever boost they need to feel their best!

Art requirements:

  • Halfbody minimum
  • +20ft for a fullbody
  • No background required!

Writing requirements: 

  • 300 word minimum
  • +20ft for 600+ words

Welcome to the 'Gift Art Prompt'!

The community here at SpriteFestival is full of life and love, you guys are what makes this species as special as it is!

Gifting art is such a kind way to give to each other, whether it's for fun or to brighten someone's day, you never cease to amaze us!

That's why we have reopened this Gift Art Prompt, so those who give can get a little back for their kindness!

In this prompt you're supposed to create any sort or gift art or writing for someone elses Chowling!

 

  ART/WRITING RULES  

  • Gift Writing falls under Gift Art! So it is also applicable for rewards!
    • You must have a minimum of 200 words for gift writing, and a headshot for gift art! (can be monochrome or coloured)
  • You cannot use other prompt work, previous pieces, commissions, trades, etc as entries!
  • Can include Chowlings, Avilets or Familiars! Human Forms are also allowed!
  • Can be Traditional, Digital or other!
  • You can only submit to this prompt four times per month! The rewards are fixed!

  GENERAL RULES  

  • Any art made adds NO value to the subject Chowling since it’s giftart
  • Do not submit any images featuring extreme gore, sexual themes, hateful messages or other themes that are against our general rules
  • Make sure to get permission of the owner of the Chow first before drawing their Characters

For art submissions you will need a url link, there are multiple ways you can link your entry!

Some useful ways are:

  • Upload your work to the 'SpriteFestival artwork' Gallery! You can do this by going to the gallery and clicking 'submit' in the in the top right!
  • Upload your work to sta.sh if you have a DeviantArt account, copy the link and add it to your submission!
  • You can send it in the community discord and copy the message link to put in your submission!
  • You can upload it to the character's toyhouse, view the image from there and copy that link to pop in your submission!

For written entries, you can either:

  • Write your entry on site through the comment section or write your entry as a Literature in the Chowling Gallery! [Link to submit to the gallery]
  • Write your entry using external softwares, as long as a link is available for mods to view your work!
Once you have a link go to the ‘Submit prompt’ Button at the bottom of this page, fill out all the info in the form and finish off with the ‘submit’ button at the end of the page. Over the next few days a Moderator will manually check and approve your Prompt and your rewards will be automatically sent to your account!

Welcome to the Spotlight Prompt!

Every month a new chow get's picked to be featured in this Prompt.

Every member has the opportunity to draw the currently featured Chowling and submit their piece in the prompt and in return get a small reward (see rewards below). At the end of each month a raffle from all entries will randomly determine the next person who's Chowling will be in the Spotlight!

This current prompt will close on Monday the 31st of MArch at 11pm CET.

  ART/WRITING RULES  

❄️ART ENTRIES:

  • Each Piece must be at least a bust up, coloured and lined .
  • Any art submitted must be new and made as gift art for this prompt! No previous pieces, commissions, trades, etc allowed.
  • Additionally no existing bases may be used and the art must be your own.
  • Can include other official Sprite Festival characters!
  • Can be Traditional, Digital or other mediums of art.
  • NO NSFW or anything heavily graphic (blood, gore, etc).

  • These need to include a minimum of 400 Words
  • You can write your entry on site, or use an external platform, just make sure that if its external the mods can view your work via url!
  • The featured Chow must be the main subject in this work

If they're a FTO / currently a NON-Owner:

  • 30x Festival Tickets
  • 1x Trait Item of their choice (exception of Wings, Taiyaki )

What's the Big Year long Raffle?

This is a collective raffle where every participant get's a Ticket for every entry they make in this prompt. At the end of the Year we will be rolling this raffle and giving away prizes like MYO slots, Items and more!
