Turon is a Filipino Dish, made of bananas (preferably saba bananas) rolled in a lumpia wrapper, fried and have brown sugar melted on top. That's how my Grandma made them, everyone makes theirs different. I miss her a lot and she passed away years ago, so I'm dedicating my entry to her and how she made my favorite dessert growing up.
This Sushling has the following on them:
- A leaf Hoodie (sometimes we'd put turon on banana leaves)
- A yellow bandana with a banana theme in mind
- Brown sugar syrup
- Sapa bananas (plantains)
- Turon (Banana Lumpia)
Thank you for the opportunity to make something I could dedicate some of my precious memories of my grandma to. Especially something that's extremely near and dear to my heart.
