May is the birth month of Pyxis, the Star Drake born from the planet Mercury. They are characterised by their golden spikes, forward-jutting horns, and intimidating teeth.

Despite their somewhat intimidating appearance, Pyxis is the most curious and easy-going of the rulers. They are quick to adapt to their surroundings, and have incredible problem solving skills. This drives them to want to help others. However, Pyxis is quite indecisive, especially in times of great need. Their anxiety tends to get the better of them, but they try their best to push through and typically come out the other side stronger.

Spirits assigned with this star sign are easy-going and adaptable. Additionally, spirits with this star sign are blessed with a wondrous curiosity and desire to go further. If spirits are not cautious, however, this trait could lead to great danger. Their occupations are often aligned with Pyxis, with most choosing a field in exploration.

๐ŸŒ“ ART ENTRIES: Every art submission must include at least one clean and colored fullbody Chowling or Avilet and background.

  • Draw your Chowling or Avilet embarking on an exploration. It could be (For example) a cave, an abandoned building, or dense jungle.ย 
  • Each fullbody must be unique (No reusing the same art) to count as a seperate entry. Additionally, no existing bases may be used for this prompt.
  • โ€ผ๏ธA fullbody counts as the head and 3 limbs minimum clearly visible! Halfbodies would be a head and 2 limbs.
  • Backgrounds must be recognisable as scenes, not patterns, real photographs, or plain colour. Backgrounds must be the full size of the canvas. Submissions cannot be smaller backgrounds where thre focus character pops out of the edges.
  • Any art used for this prompt must be drawn by yourself, it doesn't have to be your own Sprite Festival character, but you must have permission to use any other characters that you include.ย 
  • Human and Therianthropic forms ("Furry") are allowed!
  • Can be traditional or digital, but 3D works will not grant bonus tickets.

      Recycled keyframes may be used but will not count towards the extra rewards.
