Sorry if some things don't make sense or are not grammatically correct, I was originally writing this in my mother language and not sure if I translated everything 100% correctly:')
I'm also not much of a writer so forgive me if it's not super professional 🙏
Anyways. Here's the writing!
"Strange encounter"
Viridian decided to go on a walk, he was missing just a few herbs for his potions. He could've waited until the morning but he was inpatient. It was very dark outside, he could barely see where he was going. The weather was chilly, wind howling loudly. The scenery was so eerie, yet beautiful. Delving into the darkness, Viridian found himself in the middle of a dark forest, a part of which felt foreign. His heart started pounding like a jackhammer when he realized he didn't really know where he was. Hundreds of different thoughts poured into his head. Was he lost? Is it the darkness that makes this place seem alien to him? He stopped for a moment. Should I turn back? - He thought. Suddenly, a voice interrupted him. -Who are you?- A soft whisper came out of nowhere. It was a barely audible, whistling sound, just a murmur. Viridian flinched in horror. Telling himself that it was only his brain playing tricks on him, that he had misheard, he moved on. The air grew colder and dense. A cold breeze suddenly ruffled his fur making him shiver. Who are you? - The voice repeated, now much clearer, louder. Now he knew it wasn't just wind. And whatever it is, was getting closer. Viridian froze in fear, like a deer in the headlights. He didn't know what to do. Cold sweat ran down his body, his knees felt weak. But he couldn't say a word, fear paralyzed him. -What are you!? - A loud, scary yell pierced his ears, sending shivers down his spine. He tuned around and ran as fast as he could, terrified of the creature. Heavy steps could be heard in the distance, getting louder with every second. Whatever was chasing him was big. Bigger than him. It seems like the creature was faster too, soon gliding alongside the terrified chow. The creature swiped at Viridian fiercely, making him fall onto the ground with a loud thud. It quickly jumped at him, pinning him to the ground. When they met face to face, Viridian realized what he thought was a cryptid, was actually... another chowling? The mysterious chows expression twisted in anger suddenly turned into confusion then dread as he looked into his eyes. He immediately loosened his grip when he realized he attacked a chowling and not a wild animal. Viridian took off running without thinking twice. -Wait! - the other chow shouted, his voice breaking. But he didn't even think about stopping, only turned his head around for a second to take a look at the stranger that that attacked him seconds ago and to check if he was chasing him. But he just stood here, his face covered with guilt. It looked like he regretted attacking him. Viridian didn't understand what was going on, but it wasn't time to think right now. He just ran as fast as he could for a few minutes. Heart racing, he was running out of breath. It felt like his lungs were about to explode in any second. The exhaustion took over. He wanted to fight it but after a few unsteady steps, his body collapsed onto the cold earth. But he was safe now. After a few minutes, the chow slowly stood up and leaned against the nearest tree, still panting in fatigue. After around 20 minutes when he finally calmed down a little, he decided to get going. Thankfully he was very close to home. Thousands of thoughts crossing his mind, he was still very confused about the encounter. Why did the chowling attack him? Did he mistake him for a monster as well? Was he just guarding his territory? Who was it? He will never forget this encounter.
