What luck she had. After ushering another chow to safety, she somehow managed to cut her arm, and it wasn't a dainty cut either. The cut span from her elbow to just before her wrist started, and how she hadn't noticed it until someone else pointed it out was beyond her. So there she sat on the ground, rummaging around in her first aid kit for medical supplies and grumbling about how she should've been more careful. "Where is it, ah! There you are." She muttered aloud before fishing out the medical tape to keep the gauze in place. Carefully affixing the gauze, Sadie smiled to herself in satisfaction. She could get it checked out properly tomorrow when this was all over.

Putting the contents of the kit back in it, she snapped it closed before picking it up again. Walking in the darkness, she stayed alert in case The Chimera was around. Then again, it couldn't sneak around when its steps felt like it rattled the earth around it, much less when it would below so loudly. For now, the night was quiet, as it should've been for the last few hours, and all she could hear was the crunch of sticks underneath her boots and the sound of someone else's feet hitting the ground behind her. Wait. Whipping around, she came face to face with a panicked-looking chow who nearly crashed into her.

"Sweet saints! Nearly scared me out of my fur here!' She jumped, taking a step back as the chow before her began apologizing profusely. "Oh- I'm so, so sorry, I just have to bring this water, there's a fire and- and-" It was then that she noticed the sloshing bucket of water in their shaking hands. "Hey, you said something about fire? Hey, hey, calm down. If there's a fire, I can help! Just lead the way!" She stepped out of their way letting them hurry on and following suit after them. Not another word was spoken, even when they came upon burning husks of buildings and some starting to set alight. In the midst of this were chows handing buckets to one another to put out the homes that were beginning to set alight and beating back the flames as best they could.

Sadie set down the first aid kit to instead look for a full bucket. A chow handing them out helped direct her to where a mass of chows were, dumping the contents of their buckets onto the growing wall of flames before scurrying off to refill the buckets. She soon joined them in the running from the wells to swap out empty buckets for full ones to carry back and be directed to where they were needed. Rinse and repeat. It was hard work but worth it for saving homes and the surrounding woods from the harsh blue flames. She was sweating and partially regretting her choice of insulating attire but wouldn't have it any other way to aid those around her.
