Cupid is a chowling who is dedicated to their duty in spreading love and affection to as many people as possible. However at this very moment, The chow believed they were in quite the opposite situation as they sat across from a worrying chowling seated in a cafe's table seat sheepishly staring at their heart latte art cappucino. "Sooo, Why exactly are you struggling here?" Cupid quietly asked their paws resting on the other side of the table. "I mean! you have everything you need! the roses, the chocolates, heck! even the love arrow I used on the chow you wanted most!" The pink chow spoke seriously though paused when the other shook their head embarassingly "You don't get it! It just... it doesn't feel like me!" The white chow sitting in front of cupid was known around the block as well, The lonely themed chow. The chow didn't ever have anyone to look upon and every year Cupid had watched this lonely figure look on in envy as other chows celebrated the huge spectacle event.
"Why doesn't it feel like you though? I haven't really ever seen you say anything on love or gift giving..." The other pointed out mulling over the other's words frustratingly "In fact this is your first year you've even had a real chance..." Though at Cupids words the chow sighed and pressed their chin ok the table. "If i pretend to be something im not for the sake of getting a chow to fall in love with me....then it just proves I wasn't good enough to begin with..." They stated sadly "That all these years were right. That im not meant for anything other than being truly alone.." Though they were confessing such deep emotions, Cupid was looking rather grimaced at this exageration "uhhh- It's not that serious. this is really just a stepping stone you know? You can just always open up to them on who you really are when you've maintained enough confidence..." The chow spoke up shaking their head "Honestly not every chow starts out as this grand love having chow!"
The lonely chow sighed before mulling over the other's words and mumbled quietly "But still... I want to be as genuine as I can be.. I don't want a person to feel like I lied to them." They mumbled while Cupid moved to push themselves off from their seat speaking up "Fine fine. if that's how you wish for it to be. But im going to make sure that you absolutely try at least this year to show your 'sincerity' that you speak of! We can't have you just saying things then back out on it the last minute!" The chow spoke as they grabbed the flowers and chocolate moving to place them on a couple chows tables who quietly thanked the being in a bit of shyness. When the chow wandered back the other was getting up as well.
"Do you mean it then?" They asked cupid looking over before their tail wagged a bit when Cupid nodded at them "I'll help you, i'll help you to be as genuine as you can be. We'll find out just how this lonely chow loves and adores someone, together." The chow took the others paws and beamed at them "Does that sound good to you?" At the others words the shy chow perked up before smiling in return "That sounds wonderful! A relief even--" They looked away embarassedly before dropping their paws as Cupid spoke up "Great! Then come on, we can't waste all our time here waiting for inspiration to come our way! I have a pretty good suspicion i know just the place to get you some ideas..." Cupid moved quickly flapping their wings as they trotted off as the other paused then called out "AH-! wait!! my cappucino!!" They rushedly grabbed their cup as they hurried after the other was giddily trotting away, surely today would be interesting!
