"Well then come on~" Lonely moved helping Cupid up a bit as he held the umbrella over the other's head whilst rain was coming down "I know you said the museum was the last stop but... I had one in mind if that's okay with you, I mean- You don't have to come--" The other sheepishly spoke feeling a bit self concious after being so confident at the start "Um I mean to say--" Cupid was listening up until this point as the other stammered in front of them. Smiling, They moved and led the other onwards yawning a bit "I guess I have enough energy for ooooone more spot!" They flapped their wings eagerly before continuing on as Lonely took on heading forward to lead the way. Lonely smiled at Cupid seeming happy they had bounced back from their momentary grief and continued onwards. Under the rain, The other had led Cupid into a park that was now emptied due to chows wishing to evade the rainfall. In the center was a large fountain that was still spitting water outwards from the fish statues at the very top of it, the air was wet and cool as Lonely padded along carrying the umbrella over the two's heads. As he watched over the park he looked upwards before speaking "I have a confession... To you." He closed his eyes then lowered his head "But... I can't- Can't look at you when i say this... So.. I hope it's okay if I keep my eyes closed.." His eyes remained closed as Cupid paused and looked over towards the other in a bit of surprise. "What...?" Lonely felt their chest tighten before shaking his head and speaking up "I lied... I didn't have someone to confess to- I mean well- I didn't need your help in confessing.." His face began burning up and he continued "Because it was you i wanted to confess to.. I used this as an excuse to try getting to see you more.." He bowed his head "Im sorry... I know it's selfish of me. I just was so scared you'd be in love with someone else.. I had no idea how to tell you what I thought of you.." Lonely shook his head before taking Cupid's paws which the other allowed. Opening his own eyes, he struggled to look at the other face to face "You are- Everything to love. The true essence of it.. How can I compete with that? How does a chowling like myself compare to the literal cherub of love..? Im hopeless... But. When i saw you so excited about this tradition. About the affections of others, Showing compassion. I realized youre just another person. Like me." They looked at Cupid now as Cupid's eyes seemed a bit in shock at the whole confession as they blankly stared back at Lonely "A person I want to show my affections to. Even if i'm nervous to." They pulled back and softly set the gift box they had bought from the store in front the other "I hope- This is a okay gift for someone as special as you, Cupid." He smiled fondly as Cupid felt their face scorching, upon receiving the box the other carefully opened it before covering their face "I..." They mumbled as Lonely laughed a bit "Are you nervous now?" He spoke fondly whilst Cupid flapped their wings frantically "N-NO WAY! Im!! perfectly fine!!" They exclaimed before hugging the manta ray plushie the other had bought their eyes tearing up as they buried their face into it "Are you okay Cupey?" Lonely patted their backside smiling gently as Cupid wailed a bit "IM FINNEEEE-!!!" Lonely smiled sighing softly letting the other burrow into the manta ray as the rain softly peetered out during the scene.. Lonely looked up quietly towards the sky as it did and closed his eyes thinking "if i could have one wish... Let Cupid be happy today...That's all i'd need..."
