it was a long journey as the two had decided to travel to witness the end of a rainbow together. Though it wasn't without its flaws as the two had to take shelter here and there along the way and wound up in rather insane predicaments. it was good it was easy to handle for samuel as one flick of his wing and any obstacles in their way was shortly dealt with. Though by now the two were growing tired with their journey as Samuel had taken to riding a large mount whilst Leech was stuck on the trail walking the whole way. Samuel sat seated with a newspaper as he flipped through it while Leech spoke irritably "I want a turn." "No, it was your idea to go on this journey you must walk." "I THOUGHT YOUD FLY US THERE!!!" "I cant carry you, youre far too heavy." Samuel retorted boredly as he flipped another page. Leech groaned exhaustedly tossing his head back before pausing to himself then snapping his head back forward "Wait-! i see it!! THE END!" He called out pointing forward before darting as Samuel calmly glanced up from his newspaper to see the ending of the rainbow ahead of the two. it ended in a large meadow covered in blooming flowers surrounding the end as Leech ran along the meadow eagerly. Though as samuel sat there he watched Leech go out of sightline before shaking his head calmly "I wonder.." He muttered though as he sat in silenve with the mount steadily moving he soon heard the voice of leech "THERES NOTHING HERE-?!?" He blinked and looked over as hed now neared enough to see leech standing at the rainbow's end in the field of flowers. The chow standing at it in agape has he looked around "Nothing-?!" Leech frantically began looking as he frustratedly yanked flowers throwing them as Samuels mount came to a stop and Samuel sighed to himself. He knew fully well there had been nothing whatsoever at the end but now that they were here leech had to find this out himself.
it was sometime later as night came down that Leech had finally calmed down so they could set up camp. Samuel was quietly burning a fish over the fire on a stick as he glanced up to see Leech staring off at the meadow. Staring momentarily, he blew air out before looking back down to the fish.
"Im sorry that it didn't turn out how you wished for it to be." He spoke quietly his gaze not leaving the flames "Its disappointing that we came so far for it... However, did you truly need money that badly?" Samuel questioned as Leech stared off, the chows eyes lowering. "Nah.. I have a okay life i think.. it jus woulda made things easier you know?" The chowling spoke the fire crackling in the background as he did so. it was quiet as the two sat there together, both lost in their thoughts. "Mm. Maybe this is a good thing." Leevh moved to stretch "If i came out rich as all heck then id probably be a big jerk like you!" He spoke smirking "Seems like that rainbow saved me! too bad though i kinda wanted to go and buy a house." Leech shook his head as Samuel paused then smiled closing his eyes "That's a cheerful outlook on things..." Leech paused at the other smiling and turned his gaze away to rub the back of his neck as he thought to himself. /If im being honest, the journey was better than anything i wouldve found under that rainbow.../ The chow thought to himself his face heating up though he shook his head quickly before speaking up "IM STARVING!!! are you done yet?" He complained coming up besides samuel to try grabbing one of the fishes on the sticks, samuel scoffed and moved pulling the sticks away from the other "Not on your life, are you trying to get third degree burns??" He questioned as Leech groaned "AUUUUGH JUST FEED ME MAAAAAN!!!" He yelled out trying to grab at the fish. the two seemingly argued well into the night over their fish, both enjoying each other's companies unbeknownst to the other.
