This was really cheesy and im not very good with words, but Sundial is nomadic and a hermit, and i used this prompt as an opportunity to emphasize his relationships despite the distance between them.
Its often centuries since last he saw some of his loved ones, but he loves and cherishes their memories and he has hope they will meet again someday - his ties with his family, his partner, and his friends unwavering, even if they shift over time to create new shapes, like constellations in the night sky.

Perhaps it's a little hint that the connections he does have, make Sundial who he is, he is the sum of the parts of his memories and relationships with others.
