Pumpkin Party
“Attention all Sylphs! If you want to participate in the Pumpkin carving contest please arrive at the venue now!” announced the loudspeaker over the small festival. A striped red and white Sylph walked into the venue which had small pumpkins lined up on a table with various tools near them.
“Everything should be ready now” smiled Peppermint as she adjusted the pumpkins
“I’m so excited” giggled a peach colored Sylph as she walked in with a witch outfit.
“Oh Peachie! Welcome, welcome dear.” Said Peppermint
“Awww thank you Peppermint! It’s great that you’re holding this event. I would of thought you’d do something Christmasy”laughed Peachie who sat at a nearby pumpkin table
“Haha well the committee wouldn’t let me sooooooo pumpkin carving with pumpkin hot chocolate for now” said Peppermint as she put down a cup of hot chocolate down for Peachie. “By the way, where is everyone else?”
Just as Peppermint said that a pumpkin chunk flew past them and slammed onto the ground with a loud thud
“What was that??” Yelled Peachie as she ducked under the table
Peppermint shook her head and walked near a bush. “C'mon little prankster you shouldn’t scare poor Peachie like that” a marbled meat Sylph popped out of the bush looking somewhat disappointed.
“Aw Peppermint, don't be a stick in the mud. Just a harmless little prank” said Wagyu as he was dragged out
Wagyu and Peppermint walked back while Peachie remained under the table frightened.
“Ummm I’m sorry Peachie. I was just messing around ya know” said Waygu as he helped her up. “You want to try to carve pumpkins maybe while we wait for the others?
Peachie nodded and followed Wagyu to a nearby pumpkin table and started to plan their cravings.
Peppermint gave them two cups of hot chocolate and walked back to her station as she started craving her pumpkin which kinda looked like a snowflake.
“So we should draw a skull on our pumpkin since it’s Halloween, you know. And BATS a lot of them all around” said Waygu as he crudely drew it out on a piece of paper. “See a spooky masterpiece”
“No no no we should draw a cute cat with a witch hat. That fits the Halloween vibe” said Peachie as she pointed at her cute doodle of a cat in a witches hat.
“No it doesn't, Halloween is about being scary and spooky. Here give me the pumpkin to start” said Waygu as he started to crave a small bat up on the top.
“Noooo gimme that. That’s where the moon should go Wagyu” said Peachie as she took back the pumpkin and placed small stars and a moon on the pumpkin.
Wagyu and Peachie started to pull and tug on the pumpkin until it flew up into the air
“Aw shit the pumpkin” yelled Wagyu as he ran after it
“Noooo pumpkin” shouted Peachie as she looked over it.
The pumpkin landed on the floor with a huge splat and the pumpkin landed everywhere including Peppermint.
“Are you serious?”sighed Peppermint as she cleaned herself off. “You two will need to go wash yourselfs off before everyone else comes” Peppermint left her snowflake pumpkin behind while she dragged both Wagyu and Peachie to wash off in the apple dunking pool.
