Sparkling (Standard)
This trait adds Sparkles to your Chowling's body. Shine bright!
HOW TO APPLY THIS TRAIT
- Sparkle can be applied to specific markings, the eyes, paws, mouth, or simply the entire body. It is up to the owner how much this trait covers the Chow.
- Sparkles can be any color and appear in any amount.
- Sparkles can be drawn as small shimmers or large shimmers. Do not confuse these with stars.

Halo (Standard)
This non-bodily trait gives your chowling a Halo of any shape, size, color, and material.
HOW TO APPLY THIS TRAIT
- The Halo does not need to look like the typical round Halo and does not need to give off any glow either.
- Halos cannot be attached to a Chowling's body and must float above or around the character's body, we do not allow Halos that float next to or below the character.

Wool Coat (Standard)
This trait gives your Chowling a soft curly Wool Coat.
HOW TO APPLY THIS TRAIT
- This trait has some similiar visual aspects to Royal Fur, but are not the same.
- Wool Coat does not need to cover the entire body of the Chowling,
- Wool Coat is tight and curly, but can be stylised to be more poofy too!

Metallic Markings (Standard)
The Metallic Markings trait lets you add shimmering and shining markings to your Chowling's body.
HOW TO APPLY THIS TRAIT
- These markings must be made clear with some sort of metallic shine.
- Any color works, it does not need to be something like gold, silver or bronze!

Common Claws (Standard)
The standard set of Chowling claws belonging to Chowlings without a lineage and Chowlings of the Marionette/Phantom Marionette lineage.
Common Claw Attributes
- Common Claws should protrude no lower than the bottom of a Chowling's toes.
- Common Claws are fully retractable!
Royal Fur (Standard)
A trait naturally found in Dragons (thus nicknamed 'Dragon's Fur'), this trait makes the base of your Chowling's fur curly while the tips are straightened. While most commonly found on Dragons, this type of fur can be found on any Chow with use of the trait item Dragon's Beard Candy.
HOW TO APPLY THIS TRAIT
- This trait has some similiar visual aspects to Wool coat, but are not the same.
- Royal Fur does not need to cover the Chowling's entire body and can appear in only some tufts of fur.
- This fur has a slight wave to it when the Chowling moves.

Whiskers (Standard)
Adding this trait gives your Chowling Whiskers! This includes any kind of Whisker, not just mammal Whiskers! (Ex. Dragon Whiskers and fish Whiskers)
HOW TO APPLY THIS TRAIT
- It must be clear that the trait applied are whiskers, and not something mimicking another trait like antennae.
- Whiskers can be placed anywhere on the body, but are most commonly found on the face.

Chimera gene (Standard)
Chimera gene
The chimera gene changes the limbs an Avilet has by default (Bird legs for cold blooded and paws for warm blooded) to something of the user's choice. The chimera gene can only be obtained through events as a special reward and each chimera trait can change one limb category on an Avilet (example: change bird legs to reptile legs or changing paws to hooves) You can change arms and legs to any animal limb that exists out and this is not affected by the warm blooded and cold blooded parts (for example, cold blooded part of the Avilets body can still have hooves as long as they aren't covered in fur)
Each limb changed equals one chimera gene, chimera genes are given out in pairs of 2.
HOW TO APPLY THIS GENE
- When you apply one chimera gene you can change one of your avilets limbs to be something different from the default paws and bird legs.
- Limbs need to be based on real animal limbs.
- If your Avilet has multiple limbs from a mutation gene you need a chimera gene for each limb still.

Mutation gene (Standard)
Mutation gene
A mutation is a genetic anomaly, there is a select amount of mutations available to the species: Multi limbs, albinism, piebaldism, melanism, bioluminescence, skin transparency. Avilets have a chance to be born with mutations, the amount of mutations varies per Avilet, this means mutations can only be obtained through luck (Avilets can have mutations that are inactive, this means your Avilet doesn’t NEED a showing mutation even if it comes with one) Avilets can’t have more than two mutations
HOW TO APPLY THIS GENE
- Each mutation gene adds one mutation, this means if you pick something like multiple limbs you could add one pair of extra arms, but if you want to also add an extra pair of wings you need another mutation gene.
- Mutation genes overlap with the crossbreed genes due to the fact Chowlings have the same traits but mutation genes are a lot easier to obtain than crossbreed genes.
- Multi limbs, albinism, piebaldism, melanism, bioluminescence and skin transparency are currently the only mutation traits.
WHERE DO I OBTAIN THIS GENE
Obtain it by getting a MYO, MYO's can come with mutation genes when bought.
Crossbreed gene (Standard)
CROSSBREED GENE
The crossbreed gene is present in Avilets that have a Chowling parent, Its a gene introduced to an Avilet cub by the Chowling parent which allows them to have any of these traits: Chowling traits. Avilets can’t have more than two crossbreed traits. Crossbreeds can be obtained through primarily events.
HOW TO APPLY THIS GENE
- By applying this gene you will get access to a number of fantasy traits that you otherwise cannot use on Avilets.
- When you apply this gene you basically apply the rules of Chowling traits instead of avilet genes.
- Once used, you can either pick a chowling trait from this list or add a unrealistic tail similiar to what chowlings have.
