Adding this trait adds horns to your Chowling of any shape, size, material and type. 

HOW TO APPLY THIS TRAIT

• Horns can only be added to the head of a chowling.
• Anything resembling Horns on a Chowlings head can be considered such, it doesn't just have to be on top of the head either and can be on the sides and snout too.
• Horns can be any material as long as it is not a sentient additional creature, horns can even be fleshy.

TRAIT

Ear trait gives your Chowling any kind of ears, any shape, size and length is fine but without a proper multi-limb trait chowlings cannot have more than two ears at a time.

HOW TO APPLY THIS TRAIT

• Ears must be added to the head, you can't add Ears to other parts of the body.
• Things like headfins and frills do not count as Ears in this case, the Ears NEED to be actual Ears in order to count.
• Made up Ear designs are okay as long as they actually look like Ears

TRAIT

This trait adds a fluffy fuzzy and long coat to your chowling in the winter seasons.

HOW TO APPLY THIS TRAIT

• Winter coat is a seasonal coat which means its longer and denser in the winter months and slims down a bit in warmer seasons.
• Chowlings can have winter coat year round if desired.
• There is no true length to define what a Winter coat is but characters to appear more fluffy.

TRAIT

Jello trait makes parts of your chowlings body made of a jelly like substance. 

HOW TO APPLY THIS TRAIT

• Jello parts do not have to be transparent, any type of gooey/ slimey/ jelly like substance works for this trait.
• Jello parts can be any color.
• Jello can hold items and can show the chowlings insides (keep in mind anything graphic will be censored on the website.

Trait

Albinism removes most melanin from a chowlings skin. This causes them to lack pigment and have lighter and softer coloured pelt with pink to redish eyes. Chowlings with Albinism don't have to be just white either, they can still have different shades and markings.

how to apply this trait

• When designing a Chowling with this trait we ask you to keep the design hue on the lighter side. If the design becomes too dark we might not approve it and ask you to make it lighter or simply not use this trait if it doesn't fit.
• Chowlings with this trait have fully red or pink eyes. This includes: the pupil, iris AND sclera, if any of these parts are a different color it will not count as Albinism.
• Chowlings with this trait will also have a lighter skin below their fur, which means their pawpads and tongue will always be a pale pink color too.

TRAIT

Melanism adds additional melanin to a chowlings skin making them darker in color, this trait affects the eyes, skin and paws of the chow.

HOW TO APPLY THIS TRAIT

• Eyes need to be completely dark, this includes the sclera, iris and pupil (this does not need to be pitch black though)
• Chowlings with Melanism have a darker fur color and dark markings.
• Chowlings with this trait need to have dark paw pads too.

TRAIT

Piebaldism is a skin condition in animals that removes splotches of melanism from the skin. Chowlings with this condition have light splotches that appear directly over their markings. 

HOW TO APPLY THIS TRAIT

• Piebaldism appears in any kind of amount ranging from a lot to only a little bit.
• Piebaldism is not a very strict trait as long as used correctly (splotches can be very small but make sure they are at least present/ light coloured)

TRAIT

Constellation is a non bodily trait, applying this trait will add stars of any color, size and amount around your chowling. These stars move around their body and follow them as the chowling moves.

HOW TO APPLY THIS TRAIT

• Constellation trait is STARS AND PLANETS ONLY, no other floating objects of different shapes, feel free to check out (trait TBA) for non star floating objects.
• Constellation can interact with other traits.

TRAIT

This trait adds wings to your chowling.

HOW TO APPLY THIS TRAIT

• Wings can be any shape and size, the Wings do not need to represent a real animals wings and can be completely made up.
• Wings need to be attached to the body, you cannot draw them detached even if stylised.
• Wings must be attached to the back of the chowlings, if the "Wings" are attached to the sides of the head they are considered ears.

TRAIT

Add almost any sort of plant growth to your chowlings body, this trait is for plants that do not grow in water.

HOW TO APPLY THIS TRAIT

• Plant growth overlaps a little bit with Aquatic growth but this trait only applies to non aquatic plants.
• Plant growth also lets you add fruits, veggies, nuts etc. that grow from your chowlings bodily plants.
• If you are unclear if your trait falls under this trait or Aquatic growth feel free to ask a mod.

TRAIT

Add any sort of aquatic growth to your chowlings body, any body of water counts for this: oceans, lakes, swamps, rivers etc.

HOW TO APPLY THIS TRAIT

• Aquatic growth does not need to be just plants, this can also include sea critters being attached to your chowling such as seastars, barnacles and coral.
• Growth needs to be found underwater/ primarely in water.
• If you are unclear if your trait falls under this trait or Plant growth feel free to ask a mod.

TRAIT

Adding this trait gives your chowling antennas. Antennas can be placed anywhere on the body and can be any amount and shape too.

HOW TO APPLY THIS TRAIT

• Make sure it is clear what you are adding is Antennas, Antennas cannot mimic a different bodily trait (like whiskers)
• Antennas are not just limited to the head and can be added anywhere as long as it is clear they are antennas.
• The antennas do not need to be based on real animal antennas and can also be based on for example alien antennas.

TRAIT

This trait adds Glow to your chowlings body, this Glow can appear in any amount, any color and any intensity.

HOW TO APPLY THIS TRAIT

• Glow must be attached to the chowlings body.
• Glow can appear in any kind of amount, it can be very minimal but can also cover the chowlings entire body.
• Glow can be turned on and off, chowlings with a Glow trait don't need to display it all the time.

TRAIT

Turns your chowlings skin into a soft fabric with seams to hold it together.

HOW TO APPLY THIS TRAIT

• These materials fall under Plushie skin: fabric, leather, yarn.
• It must show that the skin is held together by stitches, seams, tape or something similiar.
• This trait does not need to make the whole chow a plush and can appear as patches on the skin.

Consuming some strawberry tea biscuits will give your Chowling the fog trait! Chowlings with this spooky trait can generate clouds of fog, steam, or smoke, which often gather around them in a misty haze or seeps out eerily through their mouths or tails. All of these gases may be any colour and may also form into interesting shapes or patterns around the Chow.

TRAIT

Add this trait to make your chowling see through.

HOW TO APPLY THIS TRAIT

• You do not need to make your entire chowling see-through with this trait, you can choose to make some body parts only see through instead.
• If you show your chowlings insides with this trait make sure to remember it will be censored on the website.
• Transparancy can vary in opacity.

TRAIT

This trait makes your Chowling Decay and become zombified while still alive, while this sounds a bit gruesome, this does not hurt them and is part of how the trait works. Since this trait is quite graphic its quite likely that your Chowling will need a censor on the website.

HOW TO APPLY THIS TRAIT

• The level of Decay is up to the user, it can be very minimal to an almost completely decaying zombie Chowling.
• This trait also allows you to have zombified limbs that can be removed and attached at will, these limbs can still move even when removed.
• Decay does not need to be gross, you can also use it as a trait to have detached limbs.

TRAIT

This trait gives your Chowling an unusual blood color. This causes their skin, paws and tongue to become a color not naturally occuring in the species, as well as if their base coat or underbelly coat does not resemble the natural cream colour Chowlings have.

HOW TO APPLY THIS TRAIT

• Your Chowling's blood, inner mouth, guts, paws and fur coat does not contain a cream colour are affected by this trait but you don't have to stick to just one color, you can use as many colors as you'd like.
• This trait does not affect the overal look of your Chowling like its body design or eyes as these can be any color without needing a trait.
• The trait must be visible on the masterlist art in order to be applied.

TRAIT

This trait adds Sparkles to your chowlings body.

HOW TO APPLY THIS TRAIT

• Sparkle trait can be applied to only certain markings, the eyes, paws, mouth or simply the entire body, it is up to the owner how much this trait covers the chow.
• Sparkles can be any color and appear in any amount.
• Sparkles can be drawn as small shimmers or large shimmers.

TRAIT

This non bodily trait gives your chowling a Halo of any shape, size, color and material. 

HOW TO APPLY THIS TRAIT

• The Halo does not need to look like the typical Halo and does not need to give any glow either.
• Halo's cannot be attached to a chowlings body and must float above the character, we do not allow Halo's that float next or below the character.
